Staci Walker
I have many passions, but two of my top ones are: advocating for children and helping others to thrive. My work at Greenway Strategy Group allows me to live into both of these passions on any given day. I get to engage with a diverse group of people from various walks of life, build meaningful relationships, and work in collaboration to make things better for children, families and communities.
At Greenway Strategy
I work primarily with our K-12 education and public library strategy clients, who seek our expertise and guidance through an impactful strategic planning process. I understand the complexity of systems change work and am committed to ensuring the work is done with a racial equity lens, with community voices at the table. These are critical elements of any meaningful social change endeavors.
Where I’ve created impact
With more than twenty-five years in the non-profit/social impact sector, I have proven results in relationship development, program design and implementation, and coaching. Some examples, include:
As a Philanthropic Officer with the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, I leveraged millions of dollars to help address some of the city’s most complex issues.
When I was securing sustainable resources for Fulton County Schools, I successfully secured more than $4 million to support innovative educational programs.
As Director of External Affairs for the Ron Clark Academy, a nationally-recognized, inner-city model school, I designed and implemented a corporate and community engagement strategy, elevating the school across local and national media outlets.
Experiences that inspire me
I serve on several boards including redefinED Atlanta, an education reform organization; and am actively engaged with the Racial Equity Committee for Drew Charter School. I whole-heartedly enjoy practicing racial healing work through the Radical Optimist Collective.
