Patty Foglesong

I am dedicated to making my local and global communities a place where all can thrive.  As an experienced leader of business strategy and project management across the education, nonprofit, government, and energy sectors – I welcome opportunities to apply my skills to social impact issues.

At Greenway Strategy

My strategy development work includes K-12 school districts, higher education – particularly in areas of research and sustainability, libraries, and a breadth of community-based nonprofits serving diverse stakeholders including students, park visitors, and incarcerated mothers.

Where I’ve created impact

  • At The Center for Outcomes Based Contracting, I assist K-12 school districts to ensure that investments in education are tied to measurable student outcomes.

  • As a member of the 2012-2014 Cohort of the Broad Residency for Urban Education, I managed strategic projects in the offices of the Superintendent and Chief Strategy Officer at Fulton County Schools, created the district’s first Innovation Fund, and designed and implemented a metrics dashboard aligned to the strategic plan.

  • While Business Management Specialist at the National Park Service, I was responsible for financial valuation of private sector partnerships providing visitor services to the National Park Service’s largest region. Among other projects, I determined financial feasibility of regional contracts grossing between $5,000 and $90MM annually, for parks including Yellowstone, Grand Canyon and Grand Teton National Park.

Experiences that inspire me

My commitment to improving outcomes for children and youth drives my volunteer work as well.  I serve as a Trustee of The Galloway School and chair the Board DEI Committee.
