Strategic Plan Development
The Opportunity: Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering is the largest in the United States, offering more than 50 different degree tracks at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, with its schools consistently ranked among U.S. News & World Report's top 10. The new Dean of the College created an internal strategic planning team to develop a direction of the future. As a Georgia Tech preferred strategy provider, GSG was selected to support this work.
Our Services: GSG led the design of a new strategic plan, working collaboratively with the internal strategic planning committee of faculty and staff. This project included:
Review and analysis of the external landscape
Integration of existing data and internal reports
Extensive stakeholder engagement including undergraduate and graduate student focus groups, facilitated town hall sessions, and interviews with university and national leaders
Engagement sessions with the External Advisory Board
Support for faculty and staff teams to develop strategic initiatives
Phasing of the strategic initiatives to create an implementation roadmap
Coaching and support of project teams in development of detailed initiative blueprints and action plans
